Here are a few reminders for new and returning teen class students:

Parking: There is free underground parking at the Rose Theatre after 6 pm. Stay to your right as you enter the parking garage and use the Nelson St. Business area stairway exit). There is also free on-street parking after 6 pm.

Note:  There is NO PARKING in the Rose Theatre aboveground parking lot directly behind the Beaux-Arts Brampton workshop. You may be ticketed or towed at your own expense.

Drop Off: Please use the back Workshop doors to come to enter class.  The workshop doors open 10 minutes before the start of each class.

Pick up: Please use the back Workshop doors at pick up time.  The gallery is closed at this time in the evening and students cannot go out the front doors. (Parents: if you are waiting for your child, you are welcome to come inside the workshop - it's too cold to wait outside!)

What materials does my teen need to bring to class?

Materials for this course will be provided in class, however it is the student's responsibility to bring them back each week as they will not be stored in the workshop. Materials will not be replaced by Progressive Art if they have been lost, damaged or forgotten. Pencils and erasers are available in the classroom.

Allergies and Health Concerns: Please make sure that the instructor is up to date on any health concerns that your child may have. It is your responsibility to provide the instructor with up to date contact information in case of emergency.

Break Time: Students are welcome to bring their own snacks.  Due to allergy concerns, no food or beverages are provided at the workshop.  In consideration of those with allergies, please do not bring snacks that contain peanuts.

What if my child misses a class? There are no refunds for missed classes.  If a student misses a class, there are no make-up classes available.   As this is a progressive art course, students are encouraged to be in attendance for all the classes if possible.

What if a class is cancelled? If the instructor cancels the class, it will be rescheduled or a substitute teacher will be provided. The students will not miss out on any of the scheduled instruction. As the weather can change very quickly, during the winter, class cancellations will be posted on the Home page of our website as soon as possible.  If there is a storm, please check the website before leaving for class.
