Daniela Easter is a self-taught artist, published illustrator and one of the founding board members of the Beaux-Arts Brampton non-profit artists' centre. She is the designer and owner of Progressive Art for Progressive Kids, a visual arts program for children and teens in downtown Brampton since 2002. She is also a wife, mother and active community volunteer.
She is a certified artist educator with the Royal Conservatory of Music, Learning Through the Arts Program which specializes in training professional artists to teach in schools. She is referred to as a Teaching Artist.
In 2006 she illustrated "Emma's Jungle Adventure" with Giantbeaver Publications and author Mary Morsilli, a children's picture book for which she received the 2006 Arts Acclaim Award from the City of Brampton.
In 2009 she launched a Teen Mentorship program, providing free training and mentorship to volunteer teens.
In 2018, she launched The Flow Art Collection, a product line of original paintings in practical accessory settings and jewellery.
In the years in between, Daniela has participated in a number of art exhibitions both in groups and solo shows. She is known for always learning something new. She lives up to the motto of her visual arts program "Practice Makes Progress".
Her paintings and commissions are in private and corporate collections in Canada, the United States, Nigeria and Venezuela. They are for sale from Studio One at the Beaux-Arts Brampton Gallery and online at Progressive Art Services, her online art store.
Her greatest works of art, however, are her sons Michael and Zachary, both works in progress.
