CHILDREN'S ART CLASSES

SATURDAY SESSIONS - 6 WEEKS

Progressive Art for Progressive Kids currently runs three Saturday sessions a year: Fall, Winter and Spring.  Each session features 2 different courses to choose from.  Each course is taught on a Saturday for 6 classes, 2 hours per class for a total of 12 hours of instruction per course.

Morning Class - 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Afternoon Class - 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

There are 6 courses in the program ranging from drawing to painting.  They are taught in rotation, one through six.  Each course teaches the use and care of new materials, new drawing or painting techniques and professional demonstrations.  Class discussions and active participation is strongly encouraged.  Visits to artist studios or gallery exhibitions at the Beaux-Arts Brampton Gallery encourage students to freely express themselves about art.
